Siemens Temperature Measurement
Siemens temperature measurement is based on the SITRANS T portfolio, covering temperature sensors, head-mounted transmitters, DIN-rail transmitters, field transmitters and thermowells for process, utility and factory automation applications.
The sensor range includes SITRANS TS100 and TS200 compact sensors with direct cable or M12 connector, SITRANS TS300 hygienic sensors for food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications, and SITRANS TS500 industrial sensors for pipes, vessels and harsh environments. RTDs, thermocouples and mineral-insulated measuring inserts are available for use with SITRANS TS thermowells.
Transmitters include SITRANS TH320/TH420 head-mounted transmitters, SITRANS TR320/TR420 DIN-rail transmitters and SITRANS TF320/TF420 field transmitters. They support universal inputs for RTD, thermocouple, resistance and millivolt signals, and provide 4–20 mA, HART or PROFIBUS PA outputs. Higher-end models offer dual-sensor input, hot backup, drift detection, SIL 2/3 certification and NE107-compliant diagnostics.
Typical applications include chemical, oil and gas, power generation, water and wastewater, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, HVAC and general process industries.
