SIMATIC S7-200 SMART
SIMATIC S7-200 SMART is Siemens’ cost-effective compact PLC designed for small and medium-sized automation tasks. It offers standard and economy CPUs with up to 60 onboard I/O points, a high-speed processor with 0.15 μs basic instruction execution, and an integrated Ethernet port plus RS485 interface.
The system supports flexible expansion through signal boards and I/O modules, with the G2 generation allowing up to 16 expansion modules and dual signal board slots. It provides built-in motion control with multiple high-speed pulse outputs, PID control, high-speed counters and Modbus TCP/RTU communication.
Programmed with STEP 7-Micro/WIN SMART, it supports Micro SD card firmware updates and integrates seamlessly with SMART LINE HMIs and SINAMICS V20 drives, making it ideal for packaging, material handling, textile machinery and OEM equipment.
