SINAMICS G220
SINAMICS G220 is Siemens’ new-generation high-performance single-axis variable frequency drive, covering 0.55–160 kW across 200 V, 400 V and 690 V classes. It supports U/f, FCC, ECO and vector control, with optional Motor Control Extended for encoderless permanent-magnet and reluctance motors.
Communication includes PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS and Modbus RTU, with S2 system redundancy and an integrated web server. It offers Safety Integrated up to SIL 3 / PL e, Security Integrated, IP20/IP55 protection, 3C3 coating, and Clean Power versions with THDi typically below 5%, or below 2% under specific grid conditions. Fully integrated into TIA Portal and Startdrive, it is suitable for pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, mixers, centrifuges and process-industry machinery.
