SIMATIC S7-1200 G2 is Siemens’ next-generation compact PLC for small and medium-sized automation tasks. It reduces DIN-rail space by about 25 percent and supports up to two signal boards on the CPU 1214C. With dual PROFINET ports, NFC-based mobile diagnostics, an integrated web server and OPC UA support, it simplifies installation, commissioning and maintenance.
The controller offers enhanced performance, larger work memory, advanced motion control, PROFIsafe safety functions and full integration in TIA Portal V20 or higher. It is suitable for machinery, packaging, logistics, material handling and discrete manufacturing applications.
