SIMATIC ET 200AL
SIMATIC ET 200AL is Siemens’ compact, modular distributed I/O system with IP65/67 protection, designed for tight installation spaces and moving machine sections. With widths of only 30 or 45 mm and a lightweight plastic housing, it can be mounted directly on machines or assembly lines and withstands accelerations up to 5 g.
It supports PROFINET, PROFIBUS DP and MultiFieldbus (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP), and can also be integrated into the ET 200SP system. A single station can hold up to 32 I/O modules, including digital, analog, fail-safe (up to SIL 3/PL e) and IO-Link modules with M8/M12 connectors. Fully integrated in TIA Portal, it supports firmware updates, PROFIenergy, electronic rating plates and module-level diagnostics for fast commissioning and reliable operation.
