Siemens Pressure Measurement
Siemens pressure measurement is based on the SITRANS P portfolio, covering gauge pressure, absolute pressure, differential pressure, flow and hydrostatic level measurement for liquids, gases, steam and industrial process applications.
The portfolio includes SITRANS P200, P210 and P220 compact single-range transmitters for general, low-pressure and high-pressure applications; SITRANS P280 WirelessHART transmitters for remote monitoring; SITRANS P300 hygienic transmitters for food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology processes; and SITRANS P320/P420 digital pressure transmitters for demanding process and safety-related applications. SITRANS P320 offers accuracy up to 0.065 %, while SITRANS P420 reaches up to 0.04 %, with response times down to 105 ms, SIL 2/3 certification per IEC 61508, NAMUR NE107 diagnostics and remote safety handling via SIMATIC PDM.
Most devices support 4–20 mA, HART, PROFIBUS PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus or PROFINET communication and integrate with Siemens automation systems. Typical applications include chemical, oil and gas, power generation, water and wastewater, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, HVAC and general process industries.
